Students are repeat offenders and the school is to be the babysitters for these kids. It takes away from the students who want to learn and sometimes they bring other students down with them. Here is an example Shawn age of 16 got in trouble taken out of 2 schools. Shawn was put in juvenile hall until he turns 19. He was given a light sentences but once he was out he didn’t learn his lesson and got busted for smoking marijuana.The prosecutor in Shawns case didn’t agree at all with the ruling that the judge made. love the school punishment program. Having both students and teacher aboard with this program I think it works out better than sending the offender to juvenile. This program holds the student accountable and there is no judgement on the student. It make it easier for students to have a voice in school and the community.
