Harper Lee
Harper Lee was born in Monroeville on April 8, 1926. She went to University of Alabama as a law student then later joined Oxford University in the student exchange program. She won Pulitzer Prize of Fiction, Presidential Medal of Freedom, GoodReads Choice Awards Best fiction and Quill Award for audio books. Harper Lee has written two books: To Kill a Mockingbird and Go Set a Watchman. To Kill a Mockingbird is a novel about a first grader, Jean Louise who throughout the book learns about social justices and racism. Go Set a Watchman is a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird where the main character, Jean Louise, is 26 years old, however, most of the book is flashbacks to when she is two years old and her mother
