Humans encounter a variety climate conditions with fluctuating temperatures, which stresses the significance of thermoregulation for human existence. The human body is able to withstand different environmental conditions by making adjustments to maintain a constant core temperature via autonomic system (Vella, C.A and Kravitz, L. 2004). The core temperature requires a negative feedback mechanism that maintains the temperature from straying outside particular limits (Marieb, E.N, 2000). The absence of mechanism to regulate the human body temperature to the ideal range to adapt to the climate change, would cause enzymes and proteins to denature which are needed for survival (King, J. 2004). The normal human body temperature should be kept around 36.7-37.2oC (Cummings,P. 2003),
Learning human physiology would give an appreciation to the significance thermoregulation to the human race when different climate factors are imposed on humans. When humans endure colder climates, the responses are of thermoregulatory used to cutaneous blood and respirations are ambiguous and require further study.

The regulating theory is substantiated in the study where the human body was emerged in 16 oC to 17 oC degrees for half an hour from a controlled neutral environment of 30 oC. The results exhibit a minor decrease in temperate approximately 0.5 oC that highlights works of thermoregulation (Robinson, S and Marino, R, 1974). Thermo receptors are located in the central parts such as the hypothalamus that controls the thermoregulatory of core temperature. The peripheral thermo receptors are found on skin (Preston, R. 2004.) Both receptors inform the temperature change to the hypothalamic regulatory center where the information is assimilated with the core temperature (Boulant, JA 1991).
