The secret powers of time

As human, we tend to learn from our past so that we can plan for the future, but sometime

we are stuck in the present or in the past which makes it difficult to think about the future. So the

balance between the past, present and futures is the key that we need to open the door of well-

adjusted and meaningful life.

In my opinion, being a past oriented, present or future depends on a situation that a person

is facing. Those three personalities have their advantages and disadvantages. The way we handle

these personalities have a vital meaning to our lives.

The past oriented people remember the good memories. A sense of pride of what they have

accomplished during their lives. For example, they remember the enjoyable experiences that they

had. In my case, all the enjoyable moments that I had with my family, I remember the most

amazing birthday party. People also remember their regretful memories. To illustrate, I

remember breaking up with my girlfriend that I loved so much. In the some fashion, I remember

losing my wallet with my savings. Concentrating on my positive memories helped me to be

happy, but did not help me to learn from my mistakes because I was thinking about all the

great time while my negative memories drifted me from being happy which affected my ability

to labor and learn what’s best for me.

The present oriented people will only enjoy their moment and will not think of the future.
