"It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver" by Mahatma Gandhi. Health is the well-being and the functionality of organs. Health and well-being has become a concern to all humans around the world. People are constantly trying new diets or workout routines to achieve the slim body. There are literally hundreds of diets. Each diet works differently from one person to another depending on their needs. Some diets are for losing weight, others are for gaining weight, toning the body and living a health life. Some people may argue that vegetarian diets are capable of providing the body with the necessary needs; however eating meat can provide the body vitamins and minerals, prevent diseases and strengthen the body and brain.
Firstly, meatless diets provide the body with carbohydrates and antioxidants. Carbohydrates promote serotonin which is a chemical that can boost the mood and provides energy. In addition, antioxidants found in fruit and vegetables can prevent the oxidation of molecules in the body. On the other hand, eating meat provides the body with omega-3 and

Meat diets can supply the body with saturated fats if consumed regularly and excessively but they do not always give saturated fats. In fact, Meat diets can provide the body with healthy fats if consumed moderately. Healthy fats are unrefined animal fats, fat from fish and fat from some plants such as avocado, olive and nuts. The body needs fats because fats protect the inner organs like the heart, kidney and liver. Fat is also critical for health because it is used to produce hormones. As a matter of fact, the human brain is 60% made of fat. If the person does not consume enough fat, it may affect his brain chemicals that influence the mood and behavior.
