All across the world many individuals and families have dealt with the horrible effects and outcomes of bullying. Some people may have a friend or loved one who has been a victim of bullying and considered harming themselves or others due to the embarrassment caused from the predator. What people fail to realize is bullying puts strain on more than one person and what maybe set out to be a joke is more than able to transpire into a tragedy at the drop of a dime.
In today’s society there has been a reformed act of bullying to all age groups of both men and women. Individuals now perform their attack via internet, by either exposing the victim in an uncomfortable way, teasing, and or threatening the victim.
These vicious acts can cause the victim to feel worthless with no reason of living. And whether individuals acknowledge it or not it is a crime. The correct terminology for the crime is “cyber bullying”. Although almost all states in America have bullying laws installed, many states are also making sure it is important to enforce the specifics of cyber bullying and any other forms of electronic harassment that takes place. Unfortunately this crime is beginning to take over lives, families and self-esteem.
