I feel that schools should enforce a no tolerance bullying campaign that in which if students are found bullying another through any form of medium, they must then go to the school councilor to address the issue as well as get parents involved. By doing so students will be able to address problems fully with a professional and this professional can scaffold proper behavior. Furthermore, I believe that every school should help kids build confidence in the classrooms, so that even if they are bullied, the effect of it will be less because of their high efficacy. Additionally, I like the idea of getting parents involved in two ways. One would be at the school in which when a student is caught bullying or is victimized, the parent is made aware and then can further address and discuss this issue with their child. Furthermore, I feel that because of the increased use in technology, especially amongst young adults, that parents should monitor their kids media accounts for signs of harassment on their end or at their expense. She would not read our messages or constantly check our accounts, but once in awhile she would check to see what we were posting. By doing so she was able to regulate what we were posting as well as discuss with us how she felt others could interpret our posts. All in all, I believe that bullying is an ever evolving and growing problem within the United States, and that it this problem has been integrated so long within our culture that it will be difficult to eradicate.
