There are thousands of different religions. Each has their own belief system and ideas about the afterlife and what it will be like. The existence of a God has always been accepted by almost every people in history until the past couple hundred of years. Every civilization has developed their own religion over time. It is human nature to want to be a part of something bigger than him/herself. Some of these religions are very extreme, and others are simply a statement of belief. From the ancient Greek mythology in which there are hundreds of gods and goddesses that control different parts of life to the single all powerful God, Jehovah, of the Israelites and Christians there are so many different views. “Religion is the first sense of community.
