The Legend Of Argento's Fake

I don't fear the dark, I fear what's in it. The unknown. I fear monsters and ghosts I don't know exist or not. When I was younger, my mind would create and imagine horrible things out of fear that aren't even there, and things that don't exist. I always thought that was the reason myths and legends were formed. I may or may not be right. It may not even be real. But what I experienced working at Argento’s food store was not a trick, everything I saw and experienced was real, and I’m living proof.

My name’s Jason. I work the night shift at Argento's food store, with my best friend Luke. Luke’s been my best friend since as long as I can remember. We both got a part time job working the night shift at Argento’s food store. We start every day at midnight and finish at five in the morning. I call it the graveyard shift. Me and Luke were working one night, and it became boring. There barely any customers during the night, so we mostly sit behind the checkout counter, talking, watching

It’s horrible. The last time I ever saw a real live human was centuries ago. I sit alone, behind the counter of Argento’s food store. It’s funny looking back, at how fun this place use to be. Just sitting here playing games, texting and even talking to Luke. I was the hero. I let Luke die. It had to be me, who inherited the curse of Kay. I sit behind the counter of Argento's food store, unable to die. I had the option to die a long time ago, but I couldn't give anyone, the pain and torture I still go through today. The pain of being immortal, and unable to die. I could never give anyone the curse of Kay. I'm too loyal to people, even to the people I dont even know. That’s my fatal flaw; loyalty. I can only wish to die, knowing that it will never happen. I don't fear death, not anymore. Know, as I sit here for more centuries, I can only desire on the thought, why couldn't I have died, that day when we saw the women with the curse of

Darkness the Vampire’s Double: Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu’s Carmilla Darkness in Le Fanu's Carmilla serves as its own monster since it is a representation of negativity, mystery, and fear. Darkness like the vampire creates an unsettling sensation for the narrative because it allows the uncanny to manifest and generate feelings of uncertainty and terror. For the main protagonist Laura, the overwhelming experience of darkness places the character in a state of distress which creates problems for her mental and physical wellbeing. “I felt the same lassitude and languor weighed upon me. Dim thoughts of death began to open, and an idea that I was slowly sinking took gentle, and somehow, not unwelcome, possession of me.”…

The thing that goes bump in the night, the boogey man, the monsters that hide under beds and in closets; they were the terrors of our childhood. We spent many nights cowering beneath a mountain of blankets afraid of the possibilities that lurked in the darkness of our bedroom. We were afraid of the dark. Terrified of the ominous blackness that allowed our imaginations to run unfettered, conjuring images of killer beasts in our closets and hairy monsters under our beds. Just picturing the possibility of their long claws or sharp teeth was enough to plague us with nightmares.…

Death is inescapable. According to a study performed by Laura E. R. Blackie and Philip J. Cozzolino, thinking about death in a specific way can affect how you act. They found that people who thought about their mortality and their limited lives tended to motivate themselves to embrace goals that are important to them.
