Heart rate is defined as the number of heartbeats per unit of time. Heart rate us based on how many contractions of the ventricles, which are the lower chambers of the heart. At the 2013 American Heart Association meeting, which took place in New Orleans, studies show that drinking one to three energy drinks could increase a person's blood pressure and mess with the heart rhythm. The normal heart rate for adults is from 60 to 100 beats per minute. An unusually low or high heart rate can cause problems. A lower heart rate means that the heart is functioning more efficiently. There are many things that may influence a person's heart rate. For example, fitness level, the temperature of the air, body size, medications and more. Researchers also found that drinking energy drinks resulted in increased heart rate and blood pressure, especially in people who already have heart disease. High blood pressure can lead to having a stroke and heart disease. For people who have existing medical conditions, the risks affiliated with emerge drinks are said to be higher. Rockstar Energy is a brand of energy drink that was created in 2001. Rockstar energy is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and is the leading energy drink brand in the United States. Rockstar Energy's main ingredients are sugar and caffeine; however there are many other ingredients.
