In other words it is the parents utmost responsibility to foster a loving and learning environment where a child can grow into his utmost full potential, otherwise they are fostering detrimental framework that will not lead to a solid foundation for any child to grow upon. Specific research has demonstrated that when one’s autonomy need is impeded upon by daft and demanding parents or by parents who are low in autonomy support, they have a tendency to place strong preference on the extrinsic aspirations or life goals for wealth, fame, and image, relative to intrinsic ones for growth, relationships, and community (2013). Luckily there is the school system to help foster a learning environment in which children can learn the meaning of self betterment. Of course unless one is at those moments when the schooling systems are structured in ways that tend to make all students somewhat controlled in their motivation (2013). The theory states that the social contexts that support basic needs will maintain intrinsic motivation, facilitate fuller internalization of extrinsic motivation, and promote integration of the regulation of people’s emotions, thus supporting people’s overall autonomy as well as the enhanced performance and well-being outcomes that are associated with autonomous functioning (2013). Without such support one is left to their own devices, falling prey to the joys of life yet never truly understanding one 's own existence. One can only hope that teaching and virtues overcome human nature, and that lessons learned get passed along through generations. For as time progresses more obstacles are made for man to overcome and prove themselves to be self-actualized, “a fluid process, that is not fixed or static in entity”
