There are many families deciding to adopt for a various amount of reasons. Adoption will have many ups and downs but it can be very rewarding in the end. Although adoption can be difficult, adoption can immensely impact the child and family in positive ways. The adoptee will face many different circumstances and situations that may impact his or her self. When adopting, the family will have to overcome many diversities when the family adopts a new child. Change in anything can be frightening and intimidating. There will be many hardships a family with an adoptive child will face. Some of these hardships are how the siblings will react and adjust, the family transition the family will encounter, and how the adoptive child will deal with questions, previous trauma, and emotions.
