Argumentative Essay: The Causes Of Gang Violence

It is such a pain to those, who now walk through the streets, and are faced with a daunting task of deciding whether to continue walking or find another way home. For they see a group of men dressed in black huddled near the street corner, who call themselves a gang. The woman, who was just trying to walk home after a long, hard day at work, is now being followed by some of the men from that gang. She runs and runs, but knows she will get nowhere before the men catch up so she stops. Knowing she will be abused, or raped, or worse, if they ever catch her, she begins to take out her phone. It is true that a gang is formed when a leader steps up, and they assemble a group of men and women who have the intent to kill. They come out when it is dark, and they sit on street corners waiting for the perfect victims. Sometimes they get lucky and one walks into their trap; however, most recognize the large, alarming men standing in all black. Others are not so lucky because they take their usual route home which the gang just happens to notice. The gang pounces and kills another victim with very few footsteps left behind. The gangs have become professionals at the so-called hit and runs. Now, I propose that these gangs, who commit terrible, violent crimes, be embarrassed in front of those who want to see them in such a state, then executed in various manners.

There is a certain advantage to my scheme, including the prevention and disintegration of the gangs on the streets. The technology we will use to catch the guilty party will include cameras, audio and video, and other street monitoring devices. These will be set up around street corners and dark alleys, which will discourage the continuation of any violent acts. Once these devices are implemented, we will be able to monitor streets and corners
