Gun control is when the government makes laws of how firearms can be owned or sold (Dictionary.com). The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is at the hart of the issue of gun control (The Free Dictionary). The majority of police officers also think that the problem with guns and kids is the parenting. For how they don't get enough guidance and support in their life. Today's children are more prone to violence due to video games and the violent movies, but then that leads back to the way they were raised. If parents don't show children love and that they are cherished, how can that child grow up and show love to any other person When you don't care if ht eprson in front of you, beside you, and in back of you lives or dies, it is really easy to pull the trigger. Guns have always been prevalent and easy to obtain in this country. The variables that exist deal with the way our society handles each of the other listed issues. EAch of the factors play a role in the overall erosion of respect for the value of life, other rights, and the law in general.
