Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is the story of an eleven-year-old boy learns that he is a wizard and is inviting to study at Hogwarts, where is hiding the mystical stone and there is someone planning to steal it. At Diagon alley, Harry hears about someone that people do not dare to mention his name, so Hagrid tells him the story of Lord Voldemort, the wicked wizard who kills Harry's parents and gives him a lightning bolt scar. Hagrid gives Harry a train ticket and leaves. Harry meets Ron and Hermione, who will be his best friends in the near future, on the train. At Hogwarts, the Sorting hat puts Harry to Gryffindor House. Harry finds that Snape, the Potions teacher, hates him very much. In flying class, Draco Malfoy, The Slytherin bully, challenges Harry to fly. Although he breaks the school rules, Professor McGonagall rewards him by putting him on the Gryffindor Quidditch team as a Seeker. Malfoy upset and challenges Harry to a wizard duel in midnight. Ron, Hermione, and Neville go with him, but Malfoy betrays to them. They escape from a janitor and meet the three-headed dog who guarding something. On Halloween, a troll, ugly monster, comes into the castle, and Harry finds Professor Snape with a blood leg. He wonders if Snape releases the troll for some reason. McGonagall punishes five children by finding the cause of unicorn's death in the Forbidden Forest. During the search, Harry accidentally encounters a mysterious creature that is drinking unicorn blood. He immediately knows that is Voldemort, so he firmly believes that Snap want to bring the Philosopher’s stone to his master. Three friends decide to protect the Philosopher's stone before Voldemort gets it. They sneak off into the forbidden third-floor corridor where the three-headed dog guarding, and pass it by playing music. After that, they use their skills to fight hundreds of flying keys, play a real-life game of wizard chess. Ron sacrifices himself to win, so Harry and Hermione have to solve the logic puzzle and then drink the right potion to go forward. Harry is surprised to find that someone who is trying to steal the stone is Professor Quirrell who has Voldemort lived like parasites, not Professor Snape as he thinks. Quirrell forces Harry to look at the mirror of Erised then tell the hiding place of the stone. Harry sees it in his pocket, but he lies to him. Quirrell tries to kill Harry, but when he touches Harry, his body is burned. Quirrell is dead and Voldemort has defeated again. Dumbledore
