Introduction
Sweatshops are an example of various human right breaches, a way to fuel greed, against equal rights between genders as well as an issue for the environment causing a large environmental impact.
Human Rights Breaches Sweatshops breach many human rights to create cheap labour for their products. Unions had been formed by sweatshop to prevent these breaches however were beaten for their uprising against their oppression by their employers and the companies whose products they create. Many communities have been effected by sweatshops in their area as they’re effected by the toxins from cotton production as well as the increase in child deformities due to the chromium from leather production. Many people such as sweatshop workers and relative of sweatshop workers began to protest against these breaches in human rights however were fired open by law enforcement with the use of live rounds, as well as protestors were also beaten by law enforcement, displaying the breaches in human rights.

Due to the disposal of many of the clothes that were created in sweatshops 11 million tonnes of textiles have been disposed of each year. Sweatshops need many materials for their products to be created however it may take much time for many of these materials to be created or harvested, due to this 80% of cotton plants have been genetically modified to meet these deadlines with many of the plant also causing problems for farmers. Due to many of sweatshops chemicals not properly being disposed of much of the water in the area of sweatshops has been polluted and contaminated beyond the point of safe consumption.
