After several hours of discussion The animals could not agree on a plausible solution. Chief adjourned the meeting and decided they would continue having meetings everyday until they reached a solution. One day a clever hare, named Pricilla, woke right before midnight with a brilliant idea to solve the waste problem with the alligators. Filled with excitement, Pricilla could not sleep the rest of the night. She laid awake thinking how brilliant her plan was. Pricilla looked out of her burrow and noticed the sun rising and quickly set out to find Chief. Hopping along the wet ground, she spotted him and his tribe where they were gathered to pray for the water and the land as they always did in the morning right before they began cleaning. Once the tribe dispersed to begin their daily routine, Pricilla shouted out, “nibi” which is the Native American term for “water”. Chief had told the animals at the meeting to shout, “nibi”, if they were ever in need of his assistance. Chief turned and was delighted to see that it was Pricilla. He began making his way over to her and when he reached the shoreline he greeted her saying, “Hello Pricilla. My, it surely is a blessing to see such a lovely rabbit on a beautiful day.
