Objective 1: Suzette will learn to identify emotions, to accept depressive emotions and heal childhood abandonment.
Intervention 1: Suzette and clinician will do weekly mood checks. Clinician will educate Suzette on emotions and acceptance of negative emotions, including sadness and anger.
Intervention 1: Suzette and clinician will use “Mixed Emotions” cards to identify Suzette’s emotions for current situations and childhood memories.
Intervention 2: Suzette and clinician will do historical role-play to assist Suzette to forgive her mother and father about her childhood abandonment.
Objective 2: Suzette will learn positive coping skills through CBT.

On one side we will put stressful situations and on other side positive activities to respond.
Intervention 3: Clinician will teach Suzette progressive relaxation as a coping skill to use to replace self-harming, eating sweets and using suicidal thoughts.
Objective 3: Suzette will replace suicidal ideation and self-harm with new coping skills.
Intervention 1: Suzette and clinician will review a list of self-care activities to be used as positive coping skills.
Intervention 2: Suzette will keep a log of use of new coping skills and review during session. Clinician will continue to encourage use of these new coping skills.
