Two seconds or eight seconds? Filter or natural looks?—No matter how you take your selfies on Snapchat, they are all sent the same way. They are all sent through the Snapchat application and will be received by another Snapchat user. You choose to have your selfie last for four seconds and then what? Is it gone forever? The answer to that question is no. Although Snapchat says that you can send pictures for up to ten seconds and then they are gone forever, that is not true. Any Snapchat account holder has the option to replay your snap or screenshotting your snap, which sends you a notification telling you when one of these are done.
