1. What did he say about the "Feeling of Fulfillment"? o Sinek states that if we don’t love our work, we will not feel any type of fulfillment from the jobs we do for a living. He advises that the basis of this fulfillment stems from doing something for another and that the feeling comes from the exertion of time and energy for someone else. He advises as long as we have a clear destination to where we are headed to, even though the path may not always be straight and the obstacles will be tough to overcome, we can obtain fulfillment. My perception about this part of the speech is that he is absolutely right and I’m in full agreement with all of his talking points. In the real world, life in general does not always show a clear path but if we know clearly where we want to go, we can get there anyway we want. This also applies to the workplace. I personally feel we should always lead by example because it begins a domino effect of leadership around you. o Grow – An example of this would be taking risks to potentially gain higher financial growth. I personally think if you do not have the ambition to grow and take risks trying new things, you will never know your full potential. For example, I took a class for real estate and never thought I would understand all of the rules and regulations of that field. The more I grew to understand the field, the more I realized my potential for a career in this field. o Create – A possible example of creating would be if you decide to hire world class leaders for your company, and be a strong leader yourself, your company would experience success because of this creation. Another example would be creating resources and opportunities for those in leadership, such having seminars and workshops in order to succeed as a company. Personally, my job has this available for my grow within the company which is something I appreciate
