Franklin Roosevelt focused on the financial difficulties that the United States faced. The taxes were increased, yet the people were unemployed with little means to pay the taxes. “ More important, a host of unemployed citizens face the grim problem of existence, and an equally great number toil with little return” (Roosevelt, 1933). Franklin Roosevelt’s task was to stimulate the economy and decrease the unemployment rate. “Our greatest primary task is to put people to work” (Roosevelt, 1933). He wanted to redistribute the work from the factories to the farms, the focus to rebuilding the economy was based in Agriculture.
Hitler knew the cause of Germany’s problems stemmed from the Treaty of Versailles. Germany was blamed for all the problems of the war, then stripped of their land and means to trade.
