“Now Ares,” he said with a smile, “whatever do you mean? Why do you assume I have your sword?” “No! I do not merely assume Hermes! I KNOW!” I was boiling with pure rage. I knew he took it. He was the only one in this place stupid enough to do such an absurd thing! That idiot …show more content…
I ignored him and continued. “...IF YOU DON’T GIVE ME MY SWORD BACK THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU YOU WON’T SEE ANOTHER LIGHT OF DAY,” I shouted, shaking with anger and hatred. Hermes didn’t know what was coming for him. You never doubt the god of violence and war! Hermes’ eyes went wide. “Zeus,” he shrieked, “tell him he can’t do that!” Zeus simply looked over both me and Hermes with a slightly annoyed look.
“I don’t care what Ares does to you. You brought this upon yourself Hermes.” I heard Apollo snicker from across the table and I smirked at what I saw as a win on my part. Thank you Nike! I heard Hermes sigh as I walked out, the warm breeze greeting me like an old friend.

Hephaestus looked at me and I could practically see the gears turning in his head. I jumped when he spoke, disturbing the silence.
“What exactly do you want to be so special about this sword,” Hephaestus asked curiously. I looked at him, playing my cards carefully. If I didn’t convince Hephaestus to do this, I’d never get my sword
