He successfully illustrates and imparts this comprehension into the mind of his viewers making his impact in the world. It can be drawn that this principle is close to his heart as it is craftily presented in most of his works. Frank Darabont born January 28, 1959 is a filmmaker of Hungarian descent. A renowned director, in his career he has nominated for numerous awards including 3 Academy Award’s and 1 golden globe. He won the Humanitas Prize, the PEN Center USA West Award, and the Scriptor Award for his screenplay of "The Shawshank Redemption". As for "The Green Mile", he won the Broadcast Film Critics prize for his screenplay adaptation, and two People 's Choice Awards in the Best Dramatic Film and Best Picture categories. It is no doubt that Darabont is a talented director, he crafts and moulds each of his films into a work of art which pioneers and empowers this new Hollywood era. He keeps to his own unique auteur, willing to surpass the conventional boundaries set by his typical demographic. I believe this gives him a competitive edge in the film industry proven by his array of successes.
