I appreciate all your perspectives and feel that I am thinking more deeply of the issues impacting seniors. Abraham talked about and Cristin expanded on the topic of culture practices that are more inclusive and responsible for senior care. I feel that our society has been constructed in a way to disconnect individuals from each other by encouraging self- preservation in order to achieve power. This egocentric system then devalues those without power which results in marginalization and barriers to resources.
