It all comes down to the ethical decisions of the company as to whether they exploit children to adhere to rising demands or continue to work without any misconduct but at the same time lose profits. A counterclaim that could be made for this argument is that fact that different consumers have different morals and values when it comes to the issue of child labourers. Some are fully aware of the child labour that goes into the chocolate but simply do not care and believe that since it is being sold by a popular branded name like Hershey’s, they are entitled to buy it.
