Pyramus and Thisbe and Romeo and Juliet are two different stories by two different authors. Pyramus and Thisbe was written before Romeo and Juliet. They are both similar and different in many ways. Shakespeare used Pyramus and Thisbe as an inspiration for Romeo and Juliet. I will compare them by Plot, Conflict and Characters.The Plot for Pyramus and Thisbe is that star-crossed lovers have a bad situation for them to be together they are the same in both stories. Their parents both have a feud with each other. In Pyramus and Thisbe the main characters speak to each other through a crack in the wall. In Romeo and Juliet, they speak through accomplices which were the nurse and Friar Laurence. In both stories, they kill themselves at the end.The
