Dihydrogen Monoxide, (also known as DHMO) is a non-flammable chemical compound and it kills thousands of people every year. Dihydrogen Monoxide is in some of our foods and drinks, and is non-toxic. Dihydrogen Monoxide causes millions and millions of dollars of damage to the environment, and it can cause severe burns when as a gas. One of the main ways people die from Dihydrogen Monoxide is from inhaling it, even in small amounts it could still be fatal. Another way people die from Dihydrogen Monoxide is from consuming too much of it in a short period of time. Dihydrogen Monoxide is being used in nuclear power plants and professional sports competitors use it to greaten their performance. It travels through the brain, the heart, and multiple other important parts and intestines of our very own body. According to the USGS, our brain and heart are made up of over 30% Dihydrogen Monoxide! Scientific studies have shown that 100% of middle school students have had Dihydrogen Monoxide in the past 30 days! You may not know it, but you consume Dihydrogen Monoxide from some of our foods and drinks. There is an especially large amount of Dihydrogen Monoxide in fruits and vegetables like carrots or watermelons. There’s also a large amount of it in sodas and juices, sometimes it’s added, like in sodas, or it just occurs naturally just like in juices. Back in the 1800s milk companies would add Dihydrogen Monoxide to their milk to lessen how much milk they had to make. They added it because it would bring down the percentage of the milk in the gallon. So for example, the milk would be 100% milk when they milked the cows, but when they added the Dihydrogen Monoxide, the percentage of the milk would go down, so it would be something like 85% milk and 15% Dihydrogen Monoxide. They would do that so they would get more money when they used a smaller amount of
