How does cyanide affect plant growth by Ethan G. and Gabe M.

This project is to help determine the effects of cyanide being planted with the seed of a plant. Some seeds naturally have cyanide in them such as apple seeds, peach pits, and apricots. So what happens if a lima bean is planted with a minute dose of cyanide when compared to one without?
Cyanide is found in the seeds of many common fruits, cigarette smoke, and combustion products like plastic. It gets used to make paper, textiles, and plastic in factories. It’s also used to develop photos. Cyanide in its gas form is used to exterminate pests and rodents that are hiding in large ships and homes (cyanide).
Cyanide is a potentially lethal chemical existing in many forms such as gas, and liquid. It can come as a colorless gas or in crystal form

Once it enters the body of whatever gets exposed to it, whether it be an animal, or human, etc. It begins to cut off the cells from getting any oxygen. So the more that gets inside the victim, the worse off the victim is. Due to the fact that they use the most oxygen than any other organs in the body, the two organs that are most affected by cyanide are the heart and the brain. Cyanide is less dense than air so it will naturally rise (cyanide).
Lima beans naturally grow in central america where the soil temperature is consistently 65*F or higher. The beans are full of protein, thiamine, and riboflavin (planting lima beans).

CONCLUSION: The hypothesis is that _______________________. It was _________. We learned that lima bean seeds ______ with cyanide. They ________ because the cyanide is a lethal chemical and therefore causing the lima bean seeds to ______. Even though lima beans are seeds they can still breath whoever not as mammals or humans. In the future, perhaps different types of plants seeds or cyanide mixed with water could be tested to see if they would have a different impact than just plain
