Reflection Of A Reflective Teacher

A reflective teacher is when a teacher is looking what to do in a classroom, thinking about how to do it, and thinking about if it works. This is a process of self-observation and self-evaluation. As future educators we will have to write out lesson plans for each teach we do. At the end of the day we will reflect and observe our methods and teaching to see if we succeeded for the day. If we have not met the requirements we will overview what went wrong and how we can learn and improve to make our teachings better for our students to make them succeed in life. Teaching is an artful approach to learning that allows the student to use their thinking skills to discover information. Teachers are an artist who skillfully guides the students thought processes. Teaching is a science like when scientists break down information and give it as a step-by-step process. Teaching is basically the same thing, teachers go step by step in their lesson plans for students to watch and learn successfully in every subject. This is what teachers do daily in their lessons so their students can learn and understand. We as future educators need to incorporate both the arts and science in our daily teaching lives. We also need to remember that all classrooms are different and every child learns differently. Take the time to know and understand each student to how they learn. Enriching environments can improve school achievement and the acquisition of skills. Having different based knowledge and skills for the students will help overall. Knowing how students think and work can provide examples to make education the best way possible. Cultural change has affected schools by getting everyone involved with the same tests and skills. A reason that it has probably effected the schools is now that everyone is involved with the same testing’s, some students are falling behind. All students learn differently and we as future educators need to learn how each child learn and figure ways for them to learn the same ways as other students do. Wherever we future educators teach, we need to make a change and difference in our school district.
