One difference in the two stories are the differences between the characters. In the text “Frankenstein”, the character that made the creature was in his early twenties or older. When he “soon arrived at his college” he reflected what he saw and it made him scared. Since the kid or young adult is in college, he would be close to the age of twenty. The other kids in the second story were probably in their teens. After they disabled the robot Greta said “I could use your help with my science fair project.” From this I can tell that they are in middle school because the science fair are normally meant for ages close to 10-14. …show more content…
The story “Frankenstein” has a man-made creature that is more man like than the robot. It refers to the creature as him and picture him as following after Henry. Shelly gives the creature a third person nominative pronoun which makes the creature more alive and more dangerous. In the second story the man-made object is a robot created by Dev. Dev creates the robot to do his chores so he can have more free time to work on his technical studies.
