Considering the doctrine of Carter dualism, philosopher Ryle disregards Descartes beliefs, insisting and redirecting a certain topic or thing under one classification even though it may actually belong in a different classification. For this reason Ryle criticizes the usage of terms and language that different philosophers use, insisting that they create confusion for the understating of their true message. Ryle also insists philosophers such as Descartes were using the label of the mind separated from the body and idealistically perceiving it as the soul, however Ryle explains both the mind and the body are not different and the functions of the two are equal.

The option to create our own believe will always exist and it will allow us to convey certain values between the two philosophers to create our own conclusion.
