One of the most beautiful places in the Philippines and in the world is El Nido, Palawan. El Nido is made up of about 45 small tropical islands about 1 hour and 35 minutes flight time from Manilla. The quickest route to El Nido is to fly direct from Manilla into El Nido airport. El Nido is on of the most beautiful, natural and magical places in the world. It is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches with clear warm tropical waters. It 's a paradise on Earth. El Nido is also known for it its high cliffs and steep mountains. There are 50 beaches to make up this beautiful paradise, and mixed within these beaches and island are quiet motionless and tranquil colorful lagoons and secrets

Since the islands are so close and are easy to get to, you can take a kayak ride or take a boat ride across each of them through Bacuit Bay and hop the islands for some paradise fun. Swimming in these beautiful waters are also a popular thing there. There are about 30 sites to dive and enjoy the beautiful wildlife reserve of the under water world.

The Philippines is very different from life in the United States. For instance electric power is controlled and to be in used only in certain times a day. From 2pm to 6am in most areas. There don 't have any telephone poles either. The locals who live there and tourists are limited to using an internet cafe scattered around the cities or their mobile devices if they have a good signal in the area they are located in. There isn 't any regular banks there and some places no banks at all. There are currency exchange shops but they are scattered through the

Today the american population in the Philippines is actually growing. About 500,00 americans have settled in the Philippines to enjoy the lifestyle and a different way of living. Visiting the Philippines is beautiful and at the same time enriching. Reminding us that not everything has to be technological.
