This research paper outlines the differences amongst China and the Philippines. Therefore, I will discuss the demographics in these two countries or the factors that may impact the health of the countries. The impacts affecting the health of China and Philippines are caused from environmental, political, and economic issues. Within my research I found many similarity as well as difference. The system is constantly changing and trying to respond to financial problems and to the needs of the population. Despite many efforts, the impression of the population is that the reform has not been successful. Cost inflation has been difficult to control and a huge inequality in access to healthcare seems to be increasing. Chinese healthcare system try to identify the root of the main problems with the current system, and discuss there in relation to immense future challenges such as an aging population, increasing inequalities and a need for private delivery to be added to accommodate the growing demand financing of hospital reforms. On the political side, the legislative branch influences the health system in two ways by development funds to have annual budgets for health institutions and health systems to funds individuals and the agencies. Women tends to out live man based the difficult living conditions brought by poverty, poor nutrition and lack of health care. Description of Health System
To date, the Philippines have both private and public healthcare institutions. Private healthcare intuitions have more equipment and location is in the cities of the Philippines, unlike public healthcare. Most of the government hospitals provide quality healthcare in the same way private hospitals do. The hospitals and health care are similar to the ones in the United States.
