As an online learner, aiming to be a professional Psychologist (ideally with vulnerable young people), I have learnt that it is still possible to interact with other colleagues and be able to discuss our ambitions, goals and experiences. I’ll be completely honest at the start of this week 1 I was very unsure about online learning it was all very new and scary to me. I’m not the very best with computers to top it off however I know all the basics but that didn’t really help with my struggle to understand how it all worked, even going through the Swinburne websites over and over at the beginning it was still daunting and unknown waters, I was contemplating moving to a course that is face to face. Now it’s 4 weeks into the course and I can’t believe how much easier it has become to me and how much I’m enjoying the experience of learning online, technology is our future so it only makes sense to be able to interact with people from all of the work, and learn not only from your eLA but from all the life and learnt experiences from so many different people that have been through all different walks of life. I am beginning to really enjoy online learning and what it has to offer and I’m really looking forward to understanding it all more and making the most out of it.
