Obamacare was created to provide everyone with several types of adaptable health insurances. Obamacare, also known as ‘Affordable Care Act (ACA)’ has been around for years already and has been very successful. The website affordablehealthca.com states that the Affordable Care Act was signed by Obama in the month and year of March 2010. This law was passed two years after the election of President Obama and some people still don’t understand how Obamacare works. It is extremely important to know how this functions because then people will end up choosing the wrong health care coverage for themselves. Obamacare Facts mentions, “ObamaCare (The Affordable Care Act) doesn’t create private or public health insurance; it expands and improves public health insurance options like Medicaid and Medicare.” The Affordable Care act reassures healthcare by federally mandating that everyone must have some health coverage or else they will be fined and/or have to pay higher taxes. The Affordable Care Act was created to make sure that no one is left behind with health coverage and that everyone gets a chance at skipping the fee of having no health care coverage.
