Although my mom and dad are careful about certain foods, she always makes sure there is a vegetable and a carbohydrate, her meals are usually healthy besides Friday’s when we have pizza from Bradley and Wall. Overall my diet is all over the board, I’m not usually picky when it comes to food which I guess is good because I am getting most vitals nutrients, such as proteins, and other minerals. My diet is a mixed match of various foods, but overall I think I get all my important vitamins, proteins, and nutrients. When it comes to fast food I rarely eat it, sometimes I go months without having fast food it all, at the most, I will go to a fast food place maybe once a month, if I’m on a roadtrip. I realize I should be drinking other healthy alternatives like milk or water. All in all, I don’t think I consume a large amount of fat in my diet depending on the meal. I eat a fair amount of prepared foods I usually eat hot pockets, pizza rolls, or frozen pizzas. I usually eat these types of prepared foods after school, or when no one is cooking a meal because they are easy to cook and they are good. Again they are also designed for a very long shelf life so hydrogenation is used to guarantee a fresh product. In return these foods do contain a lot of bad saturated fats. I have a somewhat say in my food selections, when I am at Stop and Shop I usually pick out what I like, not particularly because it’s healthy but because it tastes good, and you know thats usually junk food. My mom tries to limit the amount of soda in the house and “junk” food in the house, but overall when it comes to
