Drinking a high amount of energy drink beverages can also cause severe reactions to the person drinking them”(Military Medicine). With this amount of sugar can result in serious problems. They can result from heart disease to being plain out overweight, which can also lead to heart disease.
According to caffeineinformer.com, they say that these drinks have previously sent teenagers into cardiac arrest. From their webpage, they report, “ [...]People have called poison control from 2009 to 2011 for there to be up to 4,854 phone calls” (Caffeininformer.com).

People normally use an energy drink to stimulate their senses to keep them active. “A recent study shows that energy drinks result in elevated heart rate, hypertension, anxiety, and others could result in harmful effects to their next generation of children” (Military Medicine). While people might understand the effects of the drinks, some people might not understand the possibility of death or even having a stroke.

Still do not believe energy drinks are bad for you? It is also better to inform others about the amount of calories they are intaking from an energy drink compared to other drinks. Just like what Stephanie Clark said from her quote on “Women's Issues”, she reports “You end up with a jittery high, then a zombie like low.”(Self,Jan 2014) So another question might be asked around what is better to drink to be healthy. Well on Stephanie Clark's report, she says something better to drink would be green tea, which does not contain as many sugars.

So if green tea is healthier, then how worse is it than an energy drink? Well green tea is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body. So what health benefits do energy drinks have that help the average human body? The really don’t have any benefits because all that is reported from doctors is that the energy drinks have an overdosage of caffeine and unwanted sugars that damage the body. It proves the green tea is much healthier and has many more health benefits to give people rather than a smaller energy
