Through human evolution there are certain things we are born knowing and things we know not to do. In Spite of those inherited skills, we still have things we need to learn, things that keep the law in order around the community. So knowing that Positive law is the one that helps obtain that, and natural law helps as much it can depending on how much we have experienced and just know, the cohesively keep the community together. But let’s take natural law for a second, and see how the U.S legal system is influenced by natural law. Natural law is morals, things we inherently know are right or wrong. In the U.S. it is illegal to murder another human being, and it is punishable by death in many places. I know this you know this, every person in the world knows this is illegal and un-moral.
