This can include many different aspects of their treatment like the type, length, goals, confidentiality, rights to refuse service, payment expectations, the role of technology (if needed), even who takes over if something happens to the counselor. I practiced informed consent by giving an informed consent to subjects in a Facebook study I did with my research methods class. Before anyone could participate in the study they had to electronically agree to the informed consent I emailed to them. In the informed consent, I included how long the study would be, how much of their time it would take, if there were any risks to the participant, and my professors name and email if they had any questions. Once the study was over I explained what information I was looking for and again offered my professor’s information for any further
