If NAEYC standards were enforced throughout the school system this will teachers everyone accountable for their actions. The Core values that NAEYC represents are very fundamental. Supporting the bond between the child and family will be very crucial in the development of young children. All schools and childcare facilities should try implementing NAEYC on a volunteer basis first. Then, when NAEYC surpasses the board of education expectations. The schools should start coming up with ways of incorporating NAEYC standards into their system. Having NAEYC-accredited programs would help teachers focus on what happens to the children over the progression of the day. This will force teachers to be held accountable for their actions.
