I would like to add happiness to my belief of the philosophy of life. I think that happiness is the ultimate goal for human beings. It is the end result in everything that we strive for and the goals we set. Yes, we find success and yes we feel a sense of accomplishment, but out of these feelings stem happiness. Why do people want money? So that they can buy things that make them happy. Why do people go to college and get a career? So that they can make money and do something that makes them happy. Until someone is happy with themselves and finds their purpose I don’t believe that they can be happy with their life. A person needs to find what they are passionate about and what makes them different and special aside from everyone else. Of course a three year old isn’t going to know what their purpose in life is, but at that age they are naïve of these things they find joy in the simplest things and as adults I think we lose the ability to do this.
