What happened to the 7-year-old boy who would bask in the sun at the park, as he built castles and stuck his toes in the warm and grainy sand. As a child, I didn’t have any responsibilities other than being a kid, everything seemed easier and nothing seemed to be planned out. Recently, I have been having trouble figuring out exactly who I am or who I’m supposed to be. I’m a 28-year-old Junior in college, an adult with a whole new set of responsibilities, those of which I’m required to abide to. However, throughout the years, I’ve come to realize that life is not a check list of questions, nor is it impossible to live without failure. In order for me to achieve a goal, I need to be driven by a fear of failure. That being said, my goal is to look for a career that will warrant me a role in a filed that I am indisputably interested in. In addition, a career that will allows of growth and continuous learning and that allows an acceptable work-life balance. Therefore, through my research, I have conducted a number of self-assessments, which will help me identify what type of work is considered most appropriate for me.
One of the greatest tasks I’ve overcome was completing the flower diagram, as it took longer than I had expected.
