After reading the book, I understand what she had to do in order to get to where she is now. She did not do everything right, in fact she made mistakes that caused major setbacks in her career, “‘That’s it.’ Big Jim said. I’m done with you. Big Jim a great coach/friend of Ronda abandons her after she does fight with total effort. This mistake of putting Dick before her career made her loss a valuable trainor. Eventually she got back with Big Jim and became strong, but the reader got to see her struggles and her triumphs throughout the book. Nextly, I always wondered if she was an Olympian and all throughout the book she talks about the Olympics or imagining the Olympics, “That was my entire life for the better part of the year leading up to the 2004 Olympics.” (Rousey 69). I personally did not know that she was an Olympian so that answered one of my questions about her exciting life.
