Today I listened to a very moving speech by Mr. Thomas Paine, called “The Crisis”. While I listened to his speech I realized that many of the things he said I agreed with. I took the time to write some down and write to you about them.
The first thing he said that I found memorable was on page 171 lines 45-46 He says “If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.” This speaks a lot about the kind of person he is. He is the most strong power and will not let such devil like the british get away with any of this.
Overall I recommend you read this small reading. I miss home I miss not being in the peace and quiet, in this fight. I can't sleep at night. I'm fighting for what i'm passionate about, my country but i miss who I am passionate about , my family. I can't wait to see everyone
