It is very evident in the documentary that the system is extremely unfair and does not really care about the prisoners. I think that if enough people see the documentary and want to do something about it, then maybe there would be enough motivation to help fix the problems. Making the case public was definitely a step in the right direction of working towards change. Overall I really enjoyed watching this documentary. It was extremely eye opening to learn about the Mexican Justice system because I did not know much about the system worked prior to watching this video. The documentary gave me an entirely new perspective because it shows how unfair and unjust the system is towards the prisoners. I am very thankful that the American Justice system believes in the idea of innocent until proven guilty. It is mind-boggling how the Mexican Justice system is extremely far sighted and basically believes that whoever gets arrested is a criminal and they should be sent to prison. That is not always true. I also really like the documentary for the fact that the camera footage was able to prove Toño’s innocence. Without the cameras, Toño would still probably be in prison so I am really glad, for his sake, that the lawyers had the cameras with
