I think your blog post is accurate on exploitation in the work place. Also, I am always amazed at how not only are the servers treated as the underclass by their employers but, can also be treated rudely or looked down upon by customers. I dislike seeing someone be rude to a server. No one knows how long they have stood all day, how many hours they have worked, or how low of a salary they earn each day. Many people in the working class fall into the pressures of knowing they are being taken advantage of but, have accepted Marx’s theory of “Ideology” where they have accepted the roles of their job and view them as a normal part of society.
