As a human being we all make mistakes. God forgives us as long as we repent. Unfortunately, some people are in too deep that they aren’t able to fix their mistakes any longer. Macbeth was an honorable, courageous and loyal man. He was someone that everyone loved and thought highly of. However, he made mistakes and didn’t repent – digging his own grave. Macbeth’s own selfish desires were ignited and grew within him. He had a choice to make. Others may influence his decisions, but in the end he is the one who can make that decision for himself. Every decision changes us. Either small or large, they are still changes and it can either be for better or for worse.
In the very beginning, Macbeth was someone you can depend on. He was loyal to the crown and his friends. He was a man of integrity. However, it started to break into pieces when he and Banquo met the three witches. Macbeth commanded them to speak leading them to address him proclaiming, “All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Glamis... thane of Cawdor... that shalt be king hereafter.” After the witches left, he was given news by Ross and Angus that he has been given the title thane of Cawdor. Appalled that one of the two predictions the witches spoke of came true, Macbeth began entertaining the idea of being king. His thoughts wandered, leading him to the idea of murder. Macbeth found the idea of killing his king horrifying. Trying to give his conscience comfort and peace, he utters to himself, “If chance will have…
