Handel Handel was born on Feruary 23, 1685. He was born in Saxony, Germany. Sinve he was little he had wanted to study music, but his father objected. He agreed to go to Halle and study law. Fortuanitly he did not remain enrolled for very long becuase his passioned of music would not have been surpressed. By 1703, he fully commited to his passion of music. In his free time he tought private music lessons to earn money using zachow. (biography.com) Handel was a violinist, although, his work with an organ and a harpsichord is what earned him his attention. This got him more opportunities to preform in operas. Later on in 1705, he also started to compose some operas. In 1706, He decided that he might try his luck

Over this time he had met most of italy’s mojor musician. In 1710 Handel set out for London, there handel met the manager of the kings theatre. Within those two weeks he had been there he had composed Rinaldo. Rinaldo was was Handeks breakthrough. This however gaind him the widespread recognition. This recognition would maintain throughout the rest of his musical career. (biography.com)

The peice that gave Handel his recognition was Rinaldo. This is a very long opera. Although, it is very entertaining to listen to, it reminds me of a song that would be played at a wedding. This has a very fast tempo. It keeps you interested and doesn't get boring. There are very mant cresendos and decreasendos. You can definetly hear all the different instraments and the the dynamics of the peice. (youtube.com) Over the time of his musical career he was exhausted by stress, he endured a number of problems with his physical health. Handel also suffered from depression and anxiety. He suffered from a stroke in the spring of 1737, The stroke had impaired the moevement of his right hand. A lot of epeople were scared that he may never preform again. But, thankfully after about six weeks of recuperation he was fully recovered.
