These people are Jehovah’s witnesses. They are a very different debnomination than most of Christianity and often are thought of as strange or foreign by many others. Although they believe in many of the things that other Christians do, such as salvation through grace, God as the ultimate creator, heaven, and Jesus as a savior, they are missing many other core ideas such as that of the trinity, hell, and the full divinity in addition to the full humanity of Christ while he was on this earth. They deny the existence of Hell. Instead, they think that when all people die, they enter a state of nothingness, kind of like death according to atheists. However, on judgement day, after Satan will be destroyed and God will reign on earth, everyone will “wake up” to be judged. Then the Christians will live forever and the non-Christians will go back to nonexistence. According to Jehovah’s witnesses, there are two different types of Christians: the anointed, and the ordinary Christians, called Jonadab. The 144,000 anointed Christians will live in Heaven with Jesus. The Jonadab will live in a perfect earth.
