As he did play other sports Robinson became known and successful in baseball. Shortly, after his discharge from the army Robinson started playing for the Royals and was later promoted into the major league team the Dodgers. But during his career in baseball, he faced barriers and rough patches. Even though times were tough for Robinson he always kept it together and set an example for the way he handled situations. Robinson is truly an inspiration to all teens due to his speaking out of his beliefs without completely losing it. Despite his disagreements with, others he still had respect for them and kept it together. This teaches teens that we can have our opinions and disagreements, but despite that we should still have respect and not do anything to people others in harm’s way. In the beginning of his major league, career Robinson had his rough patches with being accepted by his teammates.
